Ok, seriously, why haven't I read the 'Marines adopt a puppy!' book yet? It's about MARINES. Who adopt a PUPPY. Fuck, it's like Beck catnip. Becknip. What else did they do in Iraq, spend their days rescuing kittens from high trees? Jeez.

Hi beck, I just wanted to say hi and let you know how awesome your generation kill posts here is, really pegs the essentials of ray and brad... I just finished watching the last episode of generation kill and was so disappointed by the fact that my lj friends who got me into it all shipped nate/brad while I kinda fell instantly in love with ray... I'm currently working my way through 'keep it on my chest' which I found through delicious and it is just delightful... I think I'll be devouring the rest of your brad and ray next, but just curious, for someone who is entering the fandom so late, do you happen to have any gk recs for gorgeous ray characterization? thanks for your help and sharing these awesome intro posts :D

I'm so glad you love Gen Kill, it's always awesome to meet a new fan! And yeah, Brad/Nate is definitely the norm still in fandom, even though Brad/Ray is making ground. And obviously I'm a die-hard Brad/Ray shipper and, you know, Ray Person currently owns my soul :D
