Beware the Ides of March!

Mar 19, 2010 01:17

I've never really needed to beware the ides of March before. It's my mom's birthday, and the worst I've really had to deal with was birthday plans that either didn't involve me or were not what I wanted to do that day. Hah.

That is, until this year. )

Augh, that's really awful. You guys definitely deserve some amount of monetary compensation from the management and/or the folk living above - that's just plain crazy stuff to have to deal with all of a sudden. Hope more of y'all's stuff fares better than not as everything dries out and y'all can get back to life as usual as soon as possible.

Icky.

And I don't think Mikey or Pixel will be offended if they see you on the couch.

*hug*

If you need help moving let me know. I, for some reason, like to help people move.

That's all really, really sucky MJ. I hope everything gets figured out and settled soon, and I hope you get yourself a place to call home.

I feel your pain. Flooding sucks. I hope your landlord is reasonable about it. When one of my places had a burst pipe and was unlivable for 2 weeks I gave the tenants 2 months free rent. Plus they go all new carpet.

There may be a law in the Minnesota state statutes about landlords and tenants to give you all guidance on how much the owners of the property owe you for the time you are not able to live in the apt. you paid for.

My sympathies on having to bear the burden of being kicked out of your place by someone upstairs just doing something stupid.
