That first fireworks picture is especially good...especially flickr-worthy. I'd even go so far as to put it in a fireworks group or photo pool.

Did you use a tripod?

I can also say that shooting with a really nice superzoom or DSLR makes you just feel more artsy and what not. It's cool.

I don't use a tripod. I just hold really still lol!

I've just been blown away with all the different settings on this camera, and the amazing picture quality compared to my last one. Every time I pick it up I learn something new. It's incredible how you can take the same picture on 10 different settings and it turns out totally different every time.

haha... I'm falling more in love with photography every day!

What camera do you have, again?
Can you adjust aperture, shutter, etc. manually?

I think if you were able to use a tripod on those fireworks pictures, that they'd look even better. You'd lose some of the jiggly squiggleness...the kind that comes from shaking of the camera, instead of just the movement of the fireworks.

It's really cool though!

I have a Kodak EasyShare Z612. And you can adjust pretty much everything manually, but not as extensively as I want (like sometimes I like to experiment with different things, I'd like to make the shutter stay open for a loooong time but you can't adjust it for THAT long).

But for not being a Canon or an Olympus or something like that, it's a nice camera and was well worth my money.
