I got my whopping 2 grades in this term and managed not to bomb my trade class, so it's a good way to start off the new term. We have class today so I wouldn't have had too much time to recover if I got the typical B- and then had to march in to hear everyone else talk about how they got straight A's or something. There is some suggestion that the selection process for the peeps going to London is different from that used in the general pool- like they can only accept a few people from London regardless of the quality of entries. some law students feel the need to apply to every law firm coming to the school just because they have the grades and are able to? Do they think employers are not going to notice a lack of interest? Grades are in and I'm officially a B- student. I did even worse than last time. At this rate by last semester I should be close to claiming a spot on the academic probation club. Well, I had this one exam that had absolutely nothing to do with the class. 1/2+ of our grade was already in and yet still somehow I get a B- in the class. The professor doesn't curve so it could be average. I really don't know, but the vignette exam was outrageous. As of now, I have 6/14 credits out. WTF is going on in the law school? Does it have some 3-year-old attempting to input the grades. There's no reason why it should go at this slow a pace. Thank god 1L is over. It sucked. I think I bombed my last exam too- so that's 2/4 exams I totally bombed and 2 others that may be equally mediocre. To make it worse, the journal write-on competition is on the same topic as our final exam. WHY? Wasn't I tortured enough ( Read more... )
