THIS IS AMAZING AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH *____* The rakshasa are terrifying, and the sort of barely-glimpsed quality of the demons and the broken narrative style work really well together.

(also I think it is awesome that both our brains went from Adam-the-zombie-killer to Kris-the-demon-slayer. ♥)

One form of scariness is definitely the thing you only see from the corner of your eye, I think. And I liked the idea of something following Kris home from those distant journeys which are a rather surprising part of his past.

As for broken narrative--I resent exposition, thus, I prefer to leave gaps that the reader may fill in as they may.

Thank you so much. The irony of Kris is that he appears simple upon first glance, but more mysterious the more you think about it. Granted, in RL, not so dramatically as here, but still.

Perhaps that's why we all write him into such strange situations :-)
