She came from Puerto Rico, right? So does she bark with a Puerto Rican accent?
Seriously, do you ever wonder if animals have accents? Like a Russian cat would meet Mittens and go, "Greetings comrade," and Mittens would be like, "Yo dud, 'sup?" but in meows.
She hardly ever barks. And when she does, it's kind of low. And yes, she did come from Puerto Rico. But she doesn't understand sit and come in either English or Spanish.
Mia loves everyone except the heating guys who came to remove and install some new pipes today.
She tends to have the same expression on her face all the time, so who knows. You could be right about the deep thoughts. Though she likes to sleep, so maybe she dreams wacky dreams.
I was just telling my Mike this morning how I've decided I love his sister's dog because it has floppy ears that are very full of expression. And your dog's ears are like Mayah's ears :-) Floppy-eared dogs in my opinion make the best dogs!

Mia is a papillon mix. She's very short for a papillon, so we think she might have some corgie in her too.
