Wow. You really captured the vulnerability and the quiet moments. It adds a little piece of backstory to why the Order was so tightly knit. I like the way you portrayed their relationship. :)

I really enjoyed this. I don't have anything really insightful to say other than that, I'm afraid. But I definitely think you had their characters spot on. I also like that you had that nothing really set Sirius off - he just wanted to leave.

Thanks! I mean, I think something huge setting him off is plausible, but I can understand how years (all of his time in Hogwarts, basically) of tension just builds up and eventually he can't take it anymore.

Great one-shot.
I like the way you portray Andromeda and Sirius. The way you mention that they still have doubts sometimes. The part with the complexity of decisions.
And the way you relief the rather depressing situation with comic remarks through the characters. The alcohol part lowering the threshold level to express one's feelings and the part with the impulsive decisions...
It would be just like Sirius to just walk out of the door on the spur of the moment sort of...
