OSCARS! OSCARS! OSCARS! OSCARS!

*ahem* Sorry. I forgot for a second whether I was a (hu)man or a Muppet.

So, Oscar nominations are out this morning and for the most part I am satisfied. I am overjoyed (albeit not overly surprised) to see War Horse and Hugo nominated for Best Picture. I'm a little disappointed that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows--Part 2 was not ( Read more... )

That's my good deed for the day, then! :)

Yes, after seeing Jason Segel with his Muppet doppelganger (Muppelganger?) I got really excited when I saw Walter walk on stage with all those mirrors because I thought, "Oh, they must be going to have a human version of Walter in the mirror; who is it going to be?" And I never could have predicted it, but I was utterly delighted by it and thought it was an excellent choice.

Kermit is presenting at the National Television Awards here right now. Thought you'd approve.

I highly doubt it would have been. But it was anyway just one award - the show as a whole was presented by the usual host. (The host was up for the award that Kermit presented. No great surprise that he didn't win though - Ant and Dec have won that category for the past 10 years and didn't stop this year!)

I would still have liked to see Kermit's part in it. Oh, well. I had to ask anyway, because you never know.

I found it on YouTube. Yaaay!

By the way (do you happen to know) are the Muppets already over there doing press for the movie? I hope so, because otherwise that seems like an awfully long trip to make just to spend all of five minutes on TV.
