William just came into the kitchen to find me sauteeing vegetables with a beer in my hand. "Beer before 6?" And I was all, *eyebrow of sarcastic inquisition* because William is totally an eighteen year old alcoholic, it's pretty damn hilarious, even though I fear for his tiny, tiny liver.

And so I pose this question:

My lower back just started twinging so I am about to go investigate the beer situation in my fridge! I either have one or zero cans of beer in my crisper, I really hope it's one :(( I smell a trip to the LCBO tomorrow!

What is he even talking about? You're not supposed to drink before noon (unless it's a champaign breakfast! \o/) and then, like, not before 5-ish. Maybe all his boozing has killed too many of his braincells. And/or it's just his tiny, tiny body not nourishing his brain.

I think he would have been horrified to know me this summer, when I would get home from an open at work and crack open a beer at like, 2 PM.
