After nearly 4 weeks of massive stress, disappointment and being thoroughly messed around I'm really pleased to announce that we have a mortgage and will be buying this house!

Thank you so much hun - I really appreciate your comments and will definitely take heed of your advice. Luckily my job involved a lot of chasing and persuading so that doesn't bother me: one of the most frustrating things about the delay was that my hands were tied and the chasing was out of my hands - you just feel so helpless!
