This Restores My Faith In Humanity

Seeing this picture of a firefighter giving a koala bear some water (this is in Australia, where they have had problems with devastating wildfires) somehow restores my faith in the human race. It makes me happy knowing that there are still people out there willing to help other people or animals when times get tough. Very touching indeed. :)

I love this pic. If ever there was a picture to describe how humans were not the most important species on this planet then this is it. Maybe Koala Bears are more important than humans. Certainly if I were an alien I would find Koala's more interesting company than someone who thinks of aliens as hell bent on destroying the world like they are in so many films(Why is that????).

You have a great point about this picture describing how we are not the only important species on Earth. We neeed to think of other creatures on Earth sometimes instead of thinking we rule the planet. If I was an alien & saw this picture, I would be happy to meet both the Koala Bear & the firefighter giving it water.
Maybe it is because we do not know any actual space aliens that we portray them as creatures hell bent on destroying the Earth. Just a thought!
