Ben nedded the house for the night, something about a surprise for Wesley, so Cordelia and Fred decide to go out on the town and see what sort of nightlife London has to offer. They both get dressed up - or as dressed up as the clothes they brought along with them will allow - and borrow a car from the guys, then head out

Fred smilmed at Cordy's suggestions, each and every one of them. "I'm not really sure," she admitted. "But I've never ben to London before, so I'm not really hared to please." And since arriving? Fred still hadn't. All she had seen of the city was its profile between trips to and from Buffy's house.

"I haven't reallyl been here that much, either." Cordelia thinks for a minute as she drives. "How about a restaurant? It's easier to talk there, and we probably shouldn't drink too much, anyway."

"You won't ever hear me arguing about food," Fred agrees easily. "And a chance to talk some more. There...there doesn't even have to be a drop of alcohol if we don't want." Fred sends another smiles Cordy's way. "We don't need it."

"No," she agress. "And I'm trying to avoid it more lately, anyway. After what happened the last time."

She giggles and lifts her hand, wiggling her fingers to show her wedding ring.
