Predictions for the SPN finale

May 18, 2012 10:46

I really don't know any spoilers, save for the super-vague ones the guys gave at the CW Up Fronts (which are prolly speculation anyway), but I'll still put it behind a cut just in case you don't want to be spoilered by my speculation ;)

Oh God, I hope you're wrong. But your theory fits what little the guys have been saying about tying up some loose ends (sorry Bobby) and creating some new mysteries. Also what Jared said about there being some kind of divide between Dean and Sam. Like we need for that to happen again. :-(

I hope I'm wrong too! But I don't think I am :( I really don't want the boys fighting again. If they are forced physically apart, that's different--that would be kinda cool, and they'd have to find their way back to one another. But to be fighting again?! Like I wrote to Agt Spooky yesterday, Dean needs a hug from Sam, not another fight with Sam!

i hope hope hope that with Sera gone that they will give Dean a real storyline, my hope for the new season. But what i am thinking is that Bobby will "die" and that one of the boys will get trapped in purgatory in their bid to get rid of Dick. This would be the separation that Jared keeps talking about. He kept saying he wants season 8 to start immediately where season 7 does and that the boys could be apart and having one of them attempting to get the other one back...IMHO

A physical separation, like you just mentioned, is exactly what I'm hoping for. When Agt Spooky broke the Jared stuff yesterday, my first thought/hope was that one of them will get stuck in Purgatory, and they'll be PHYSICALLY separated. I'm still hoping for that! I just don't want any more fighting. I want my boys as a team again. Here's hoping S8 will give Dean a storyline and, more importantly, will actually let his arc FINISH for once.

BTW, loving your icon :) ::Sexy growl::

I also thought it might be one of them, maybe Dean, ending up in Purgatory, and the other having to rescue him. That kind of separation would actually be cool!

Wouldn't it though? And Sam having to figure out how to get him back? Ooh, and maybe Dean trying to get out from the other side? OOOH, or Purgatory somehow getting nuked and a different universe opens up, and there's a whole UNIVERSE between them? The possibilities! SO EXCITING!!!!

Jared said the boys were 'separated, apart' not 'split up' as in disagreement. They also talked about a 'sticky situation' for one of them, and I read that we lose a couple beloved characters and Dean takes one of them down with him ( ... )

::SNUGS:: Hey sweetie! Yeah it's going to be a really good finale, I can feel it. Good meaning both entertaining but painful to watch, cuz it'll be angsty, I'm sure. But mama loves her some angst, so it's all good ( ... )

Hey, the notoriously jaded Entertainment Weekly What to Watch section gave the finale a grade of "A-"!! So, it will likely be wonderful in a horrible no good terrible way.

Gah, maybe it is Dean and Cas going down together. Heh. I really don't mean that as dirty as it sounds...

I'm sure we'll talk about JPS' soap opera days. He's such a hoot, taking all the "Dick" jokes in stride on Twitter. :-)

Yep, I better get back to work, too! Later, hon!

Here's the Jensen quote I just mentioned, where I think he's hinting about Cas:

In the meantime, you don't want to miss the finale. "We're definitely going to find Dean in a predicament, much like previous seasons, where it's like 'Great, how are we going to get him out of this one?'" Ackles says. "He also takes down another, very fan-favorite character with him, and we might have figured out how to end the whole Leviathan threat."

you know what I would like?

If a physical separation means something like...

Dean getting arrested after the guys kill Dick Roman. And then Dean gets to spend all summer in prison, while Sam's evading the law outside, and then in the season premiere we get Sam busting Dean out. That's the kind of separation I'd like.

Ooooh! Interesting! Yep, I would sign up for that kind of separation as well!
