Summary: Jared ekes out a living as a lowly PA for the prop department of a successful show, but he wishes for the chance to become so much more. As fate would have it, his wish is about to be granted.
Author's Note: FINALLY! After waiting an entire year for the j2_everafter fic prompt-a-thon to come back for Round Three, I’m finally able to share the story I’ve had in my head since LAST year’s round! Wheelbarrows o’ thanks to alcorandmizar for encouraging me to go for it AND for claming the Aladdin prompt for me while I was at work, and to my dear peacejojo for the amazing artwork she created for my story. I truly hope you enjoy it all as much as I do :) She doesn't have an LJ account, but I will be sure to send on any and all praise if you leave it in a review!
For the record, I not only went with Aladdin, but sprinkled in some I Dream of Jeannie and even a piece of the plot from the genie episode of Rescue Rangers. What can I say? I know my pop-culture genie stuff ;) Also, I have nothing against David Boreanaz-I just needed somebody to cast as the villain, and he was suggested, and I ran with it. S’alright? S’alright. Here we go!
