Let's talk about data entry!

I guess I've neglected to post here that I have a full time job now. I am terrible at keeping up with journals! And I suspect nobody pays attention to livejournal anymore anyway.... anyway I am doing data entry at a company that deals with insurance claims. I've actually kind of been looking for data entry work for a while because it sounded like

Congrats on finding a job. I know it's pretty tough out there right now. As for the file worry, I always back up my computer in a few places. I have all my files on at least a flash drive and my computer at work (since most of my stuff I have is work related. It could be something to look into and you can keep the flash drive on your key chain so it doesn't end up lost and is always with you.

I'm not really that worried about it, it's just a kind of scary thing to think about! And I do try to keep my stuff backed up on my external hard drive, but I see those listed as being stolen all the time too, and mine is lying on my desk right next to the computer, of course.

Well, it's always the sort of thing you think only happens to other people I guess!
