Wait, no, that's stupid.
Last I checked IV was very much a black sheep, and II is still the rarely-disputed best from the series. How about Flik and/or Viktor? Clive? Killey? Shu? Bob? I have no idea who's popular.

I shoooould be drawing Flik and Viktor and all the main heroes and their BFFs or whatever, basically everyone they actually MADE A FIGURINE OF but nooope, hey how about I stick a couple more farmers in this lineup? Jesters? Narcissists? Anyone else equally useless? Yyyyeah.

Do you hate Sasarai as much as you hate Luc? Just wondering since he's fairly popular as well and has a much nicer outfit. :V
Also people are insane about Yuber to the degree that it scares me (and I love him, or at least to hate him). And Albert, who I think is an incredibly, inexcusably boring shadow of a Silverberg but your mileage may vary.
If I tried to do this I might end up illustrating loving homages to Wilhelm's glorious clusterfuck of pink Civil War-era-esque sideburns and un-stache, so I can't say much about liking minor characters more. I do like most of the main characters and their rivals, but in a relative sense they are so boring, compared to the bit characters. The only one I find interesting is Nash, who is most interesting when he is older and... not a main character anymore. I also have a disturbingly persistent fondness for Rody, who ( ... )

Kika was actually the first one I did, and I'll probably finish her at least. I find Sasarai more tolerable for not being a total self-absorbed angstmuffin. I might be able to bring myself to draw Suikoden II Luc because I liked him back then, but I'd much rather go draw somebody ridiculous. All my favorite characters are in III and IV, so I will probably end up inadvisably stuck mostly in those two games. XD
At least Rody can fight at all! I wish Barts and Hortez could, because I am convinced they would totally kick ass. XD Okay they would almost certainly suck BUT I'D TAKE THEM EVERYWHERE ANYWAY.

It's probably too hard for me to care one way or the other about Luc since I never played 2 and maybe he got development there or something that explains why he turned in 3 like that? It just seemed like "oh hey I'm the minor dude who stands near this brick or whatever doing nothing much and then two games later BIG BAD all of a sudden"... What? Haha.

No, it really did come out of ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE. :D He was just kind of a brat who stood around the tablets in the first two games. So disappointing. :D;

It will get attention. Add some glitter or something bright and I bet people will pay attention to it.
At the very least they will talk to you and maybe ask for commissioning things a lot of artists have never heard and such.
