So I'm thinking of starting to use all the video games I seem to have acquired as an excuse to actually post stuff on LJ more often. I'd like to make this a regular thing, as implied by the title up there. This will hopefully get me posting more, and also going through all my video games instead of just letting them sit forever. He was Algus originally, yeah. Is he still calling everybody bastards?

I read somewhere that you get to kill him in War of the Lions, which you couldn't in the original. A good change.

Glad to hear Dissidia is fun fanservice. I don't know who would play something like that for the plot or even the gameplay(although I'm glad its good.) lolz

Yep, Suikoden DS has a rough start but once it gets going its great and I think the main character will grow on you. The alternate universe thing happens to be the most original plots in the suikoden series and how it utilizes the SoDs ends up being pretty cool.

As for older Tales games...I've played them all and Phantasia is basically a waste of time. Tales of Destiny is a good game for its time, but played now it feels crappy(plus, awesome remake..). Tales of Eternia is probably only worth playing if you can get the PSP port.
