So I've been trying to get an idea of where I am on the waiting list for this class I need to get into.

The following is a particularly infuriating sequence of e-mails between myself and the person supposedly in possession of the list:

I wouldn't worry. Most teachers, especially the realistic ones in the arts departments, will accept anyone who actually shows up the first week. :) Sue is a condescending know-it-all. :p Good luck!
