I haven't a clue about characterization, but this is, uh, hot and vivid and really kind of funny in between the hotness.

They do just take over one's brain, don't they? And so obvious about it... for actors, they don't know much about subtlety. Very nicely done.

You know I'm so glad I'm not crazy(well not completely) and this wasn't all just in my head. Ever since the MTV movie awards where the won best onscreen couple, and there just felt like so much tension between them, and Paul looked like he'd just rolled out of bed, I've been rps'ing them in my mind.

This was hot and believeable and made me squee with joy when I saw it.

You know what, I just saw TFATF a few weeks ago, but I've been reading the slash for years and I thought that the moment that Vince and Leon did that whole thing that it was kind of weird. I was like WTF? That is SOOOO a slash moment!

I didn't intend it to mean that it's Vince/Leon slashiness, just a good shorthand symbol. In my head, it means, "Did you see Dom looking at Brian like that? Holy shit."

Consequently, now I make quick finger-flicking-at-eyes motions when I'm seeing something slashy on tv or in movies. It's especially funny when I see it used in the same way (as Vince and Leon used it) in other films.

But I can see how it would be interpreted as Vince/Leon. To each their own.
