My camera had an accident when I put my foot down a pothole which I've spoken to Norfolk County Council about. They claim no liability but had I not had my walking boots on they would have been dealing with a broken ankle probably ( Read more... )

Sorry to hear about your accident - but I do love the happy ending, both for you and for a new camera.
Oh my, what a precious place. I can remember it from before too. You must know how much I love the Norman portals and the oldest architecture, the better.

Ooh... Lovely, lovely Romanesque doors! And I love the spelling and the skull on that 1669 memorial.

The round tower is entirely unexpected. I've never come across a round church tower before.

Norfolk and Suffolk have he most round towered churches there are and they are everywhere. I'm thinking of a walk in the woods to see how the snowdrops are starting (and to get to Tesco) and that will take me right past another at Gunton church.

I'm hoping to get over to Kingston Lacy to see if the snowdrops are out, if my next day off does not coincide with 50 mile an hour winds...
