Unbelievable colours, shapes and their combinations.
And yes, they do look obscene in a way...very "hungry"anatomy.
The sixth photo, such a lovely plant with flowers like little crowns, I like it the best.

Well, you know, 'orchid' comes from the Greek for 'testicle' (but that was in reference to the root bulbs in some species, I think).

What's the first flower? It's stunning.

It's Calliandra haematocephala apparently in the pea family and related to mimosa.

[translates second part of name] Bloody head or bloody brain? Really? It's too pretty to be called that! I shall call it Cally.
