I should have known you'd figure out where Sherlock was hiding. I had no luck at all using google Earth maps, I guess you had to be there. When I go, now I'll know exactly where to stand :)

I'm not sure you thought about it, but: Is there a chance he could have heard what John said?

Where I live we can clearly hear talking from pretty far away if it's silent even if they aren't talking particularly loud.
Ever since watching the last ep both me and my mom was curious about that. It's hard to get a distance from the episode or your photos, and since sadly I don't live in the UK we can't go and see for ourselves.

Well, what would have happened if John actually HAD turned and saw Sherlock?
Ah, poor Sherlock discovered that life is not only a game and that it hurts...
I hope this will be taken care of in a positive way in the next series...
