You definitely know where to find more Green Men! And these are very interesting...with eyes like "RA" from Stargate!
The dragons might be grazing there in green pastures:-) but they have scales...and the second one has a lovely crest on his head!
St. Michael is always very beautiful warrior...

The name almost certainly was Beata Ecclesia, Blessed Church. The Eccles form was widespread in Eastern England meaning a very early minster type church. The Beccles- Gillingham crossing over the river Waveney dates from about 3000 BCE, as recent archaeology has found. It would be surprising if Beccles was not a very early settlement with shrine ready to be Christianised at an early opportunity.

Hmm ... I was doing that rapidly and relied on Wikipedia! You are probably right with the St Michael's church and all that.
