Ahem ... for fans of Stargate, a crossover with Holy Wells ...

Well we are familiar with the idea that the Ancients sometimes took the forms of characters from history, and we even have our own British one living under a hill in Glastonbury for a while.

I shall be getting round two writing about Merlin / Arthur / Morgan-le-Fay and everyone to do with Camelot when we get round to Season Ten in redial_the_gate meta ( Read more... )

The link to the Wizard's Well is broken, it wasn't here was it?

There are, as the article says, three wells, the old Holy Well and the one carved by Alan Garner's grandfather for Lord Winstanley, called locally The Wizard's Well.

Holywell in North Wales is about 50+ miles from Th'Edge, not very near by UK standards, but then in cosmic terms! Next door neighbours.

FF, in Northwich, about half way between the two.
