I have two ideas: A) Luffy will forgive Blackbeard and they will become allies (I dunno, it's just their meeting in Jaya is still hanging with me...) or B) Blackbeard will be the first person Luffy kills.

But I also think they won't fight until Raftel. Before that, other stuff will happen. I'm actually betting on a Mariejois invasion sometime soon.

Of course, we have to get through the flashbacks (which are shaping up to be rather long) and get the crew back first.

I think the Jaya-thing may be the only reason why Luffy WON'T kill Blackbeard.
Duh. I actually wrote a soober-short fic that sort of addresses that. It's one of my older jounral entries. Also, Mariejois invasion would be win.
