Jyumonji really didn't like the water. Having all the instincts of a bird sometimes really sucked, and this was one of those times. The water meant all sorts of bad things for anything that flew. Too much wet and you wouldn't be able to fly away. Your feathers would be too soggy to catch a breeze and even if you could, the water would weigh down your body more than the air would be able to take ( ... )

Kuroki was looking pretty pumped once they reached the beach, pleased to see that it was sparsely populated, and those who were around seemed to be taking to sunbathing and relaxing rather than actually swimming. There were a few seagulls over head that had distracted Jyumonji for a brief moment. The little fuckers were flying around like they owned the beach or something-- and the human part of Jyumonji's brain reminded him that they did-- and it pissed him off. If he had feathers at the moment he would have puffed them out in indignation. The blonde had to remind himself he was being irrational, something he always had to do when he got worked up, before he glanced away from the annoying winged rats and back to Kuroki.

Who had a grin on his face.

Jyumonji didn't like the way Kuroki grinned or chuckled for that matter, and he had already begun to step backwards when the other man grabbed his arm. Shit. The fucker intended to drag him to the water? He wasn't about to go without a fight.

"Stupid fucker let me go!" He yelled. He struggled against Kuroki's grip but the odds of beating the stupid asshole were slim. He'd only gotten stronger after becoming a were, and he had already been a handful before that. "I don't want to swim!"

Jyumonji was positively livid at that point. The stupid bastard laughed at him while he pulled him down the beach and Jyumonji was going to punch him in the gills the next chance he got. He planted his feet deep into the sand to try and slow Kuroki's progress but it did little else besides get sand up under his toenails. Ugh. That itched in a really annoying way ( ... )
