I am deeply against the automaker bailout. I was going to support it if the automakers dropped their lawsuits against CA and other states, but it looks like that provision has been removed from the bailout

I'm there with you on this one. Don't give em a dime. Nature abhors a vacuum and something will fill the places if they fail. All this bailing out sets a bad precedent. You can screw up all you want and get huge bonuses and the govt. will step in and give you lots of money to keep afloat.
Let's see some consequences of bad leadership.
