I went to get a haircut in preparation for Cory's cousin's wedding in Toronto this weekend. My stylist switched salons about a year ago. She's amazing, and I followed her, but she's all the way in downtown Troy now, and I thought I might try someone closer to save me some time since this week is so hectic ( Read more... )

Oh, no!!!

I had the exact same thing happen to me back in January - I was going to a party of a guy I liked that night and I got the worst haircut EVER.

Anyway, accessories are your friends. Fancy headbands, barrettes, ribbons, feathers, what have you. Try any accessory store in crossgates, or the Macy's/Lord & Taylor or Target. I know you can do it!

Aww... thanks, roomie. :) I don't have any pictures, and I can't seem to remember where I stuck my camera (probably at Cory's??)

It will be okay. In the light of a new day and shampoo, the major problem is the awkward length of the bangs. I think I'll take Shazzer's advice and see if I can find a great headband for Saturday, and some adorable clips to tide me over for the next few weeks. :)

Yes, barrettes are your friend! Or bobby pins, or a really cute headband. Hit up all the accessory shops!
