So it seems Zed has, through carefully crafting some evil rants, is exiting the Ruby on Rails community. I read his rant and many elements ring true for me as well.  The last Rails Conf 2007 in Portland, OR I personally found a soulless event. RailsConf Vancouver  was the bee's knees in my book. As for the community comments, I do get Zed's disdain

The women's public restroom stall walls are not that short. Though I am not tall, I've never seen any tall women who can look into the next stall. I think the short men's walls might be to prevent guys from using public restrooms for male-male sex. But then short men's walls might promote men checking out other men's packages.

I think you are right about the walls. You are wise.

I think there are two different types of people when it comes to using public restrooms: dogs & cats. I am a cat, I don't like it when people look at me while I purge.
