Sad Screen...

The burning smell from yesterday turned out to be a short in the screen's wiring. You can watch sparks fly out the side when the case is off. So, I've been told that I could spend in the triple digits for a new screen (battery is also nearly dead), or I could replace my laptop like I've been wanting to do for a year. I wonder what I can get under $

But you know, these days, you can get a really great laptop under a thousand bucks, unless your goal is to play games and do some media graphics...
