This is supposed to be my fandom journal, but I keep posting all these non-fandom memes on here.  ^^;; Sorry guys.  I think it's just because my normal LJ is mostly RL people and if they didn't already know shit like this, they'd just ask!

Oh boy, politics. I'm actually fairly apathetic politically but with a slight conservative slant. (I know that sounds bizarre coming from me. ^^;;) But I haven't actually decided WHAT I think about most of the candidates yet because I've been out of the country. I doubt I'll really start following it until the primaries are over. I vastly prefer Obama to Hillary though.

I was initially attracted to Kingdom Hearts just by the concept of "Disney characters... and Final Fantasy characters... DUDE!" It was actually the reason I first bought myself a PS2. The concept itself attracted me but then I saw the artwork and designs for the game and knew I had to play it.

OK, fandom one! Do you listen to music when you write and if so, what?

Personal one! Um...considering we don't know each other that well, I'm not sure what I don't know! Um...Oh! What do you think of Ireland? :D

I listen to all sorts of different stuff when I write. It used to be mostly music, but I had to delete all my music off my computer, so not so much anymore. But I used to listen to just whatever happened to come on. I have a lot of classic and hard rock (Audioslave, Three Days Grace, The Doors, Metallica, etc) and a lot of Jrock (J, Dir en Grey, Hyde, X-Japan, etc) and a bit of poppy music and also a LOT of soundtracks (Kingdom Hearts, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Gungrave, Wolf's Rain, Legend of Zelda, Shadow of the Colossus, etc) so it's really just whatever comes on. I do have a "dark" playlist for if I'm writing something really evil and I need some mood music, but it's mostly just random.

Ireland rocks! I'd love to go someday because it seems like an awesome place! Beautiful landscapes and sexy accents and everything!

ooohhhh a dark playlist! What do you have on that- sounds awesome! And the Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack! I have heard that it's beautiful!

Ummm... ^^;; Let's see if I can remember what was on it. I know I had a few tracks from the KH2 soundtrack - mostly the battle music. Vermillion by Slipknot, Get Out Alive by 3 Days Grace... Damn I wish it hadn't gotten deleted. Some 30 Seconds to Mars, some music off the 28 Days Later soundtrack, Love Like Winter and Miss Murder by AFI, some Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Dir en Grey... ^^;; I could go on.

And the Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack IS amazing. If you're interested in it, I could probably find some way of getting it to you!

What do you think of your RP writng (since it's limited to me, so far as I know) as compared to your prose?

Personal? Ummmm...that's hard. I know you too well. *looks at previously made comments...*shifty eyes* Yes, what DO you think of Ireland?

I think my RP writing isn't quite as polished as my prose, but I don't think that my RP writing is terribly inferior or anything. I'll skimp on descriptions and feelings (esp. depending on the character) and it's more dialogue-centric, but that's to be expected. The only thing I don't like about my RP writing is that I tend to go "Braig _________" or "Riku ________" with every post. I wish I had the wherewithall to change it up more.

I'm down with Ireland!

Since people ask aussie people the weirdest questions, and we make shit up to answer them for personal amusement.

Hmmm... Actually, I don't think I do. I met a lot of Aussies when I was in Japan and talked with them a bunch. ^^;; So I don't know if I've got a completely accurate view of Australia, but I don't think that you guys all have pet dingos and wrestle crocodiles and whatnot. I actually get asked weird questions about Texas (no we don't ride cows to school) so I kind of understand your pain.

I find shipping wars to be very strange. We're all fans of the same stuff, so why are you arguing over which fictional characters like each other? It just mystifies me.

My pesonal favorites in the stuff people have believed are the ones about drop bears and the one where people think we're all sporty and fit.

I always found that people who engage in fandom wars don't understand reason, so I hop into the center and anounce love for something that shock and horrifies both sides. (Axel/Roxas vs Axel/demyx, I yelled somehing about Axel obviously going with Lexaeus... Their horror made it totally worth it)

...Axel and Lexaeus? No wonder you broke their little obsessive fan minds. I've contemplated Xigbar/Lexaeus (they've known each other since they were kids) but never Axel and Lexaeus. I should try it sometime!

...Then again, the only Axel pairings I really like are Axel/Marluxia and Xigbar/Axel and Axel/Luxord, so I'm kind of weird like that.

Sadly no! I've always wanted to try acting and I only sing in my car or at karaoke.
