OMG, I remember seeing the original draft of this ages ago, and it's turned out even better than I thought!
I'm so glad you finished this and posted - it's really cute and I loved all the references you worked in.

Oh, and the bit about Matt's odd sense of humour was spot on.

Aww, thanks, Caz!! I'm glad you liked it! For ages, it was just those few paragraphs that you saw, then BAM, I'm able to write again and suddenly I've got ten pages!

Yeah, I had this strange FEELING you'd like that I made Donna a librarian! :-D She really does work well in that world, I think. Though her quirky filing system might be her downfall! ;-P

Oh, this is great! And hooray for your muses returning. I have such a soft spot for (IC) Toby. And I love the idea of Josh as a sort of Joe Klein-ish author; you know, he's seen so much, I bet he'd be able to spin some fabulous stories out of it.

Thank you so much! Actually, I used John Grisham as a model with a little of the "is Joe Klein Primary Color's Anonymous" hoopla. In my brain, the first couple of books were very political, but this last one got into a lot of science and science policy, since he's the kind of guy who can explain boring things and make them fascinating.
