People were talking about how they became a J/D shipper of at TWoP's Keytus (J/D) thread. Mine just got too long for me to post in good conscience, but I didn't want it to go to waste. Good thing I have my LJ! (Be warned: I didn't proof it.)

It all sounds so painful. It sounds worse than me who's been in agony since the beginning. I even taped it when I was 15 and had to work on Wednesday nights. I had no idea why I liked the show so much... I thank God at 15 I had really good taste in TV (I also watched Sports Night, and Jack and Jill... Dude, Jack and Josh on Studio 60, wtf?), and as much as I was strung along all those years, your faith was tested!
Ok, I'm kidding a little with some of this, but the post deserves this:
Dude.

But it's strange to think that I owe my West Wing devotion to Amanda Pete failing to hold my interest. Now, she’s on Studio 60. I’m not sure how I feel about that! Seems full circle, but I'm worried about a Mandy redux.

It's funny that those of us who love the show so much were determined not to watch in the beginning. I'd vaguely heard before I moved to england but I thought it sounded awful. Really, I shouldn't listen to myself.
It's also interesting hearing about how people found TWoP. Because it really changes the way you watch TV. But I guess that probably breaches the 'don't talk about the boards on the boards' rule so I won't bring it up on keytus. See you 'round *waves*

A stubborn lot, aren't we? I actually still haven't seen The American Preisdent because I was stubborn about it. My mom loved it, but I wouldn't listen. The ads were terrible. I know I'm going to have to rent it sometime.
Yes, finding out how people found TWoP is a big part of the story. It like fertilizer that helps your "focus" grow! :-)

Now for my mandy comment... Maybe JaMo will come back and steal Studio 60... Hey, a girl can dream...

And I know, I know about American President. Jeez! You and my mother. :-)
Seriously, I might as well wait until there's no more West Wing. It'll help fill the void.
