At least he did realise Josh was right last week (eventually) and I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and think that maybe he's just the slightest bit overwhelmed at the moment. But he'd better get himself sorted out soon, dammit!
Anyway, like I said before, I enjoyed your fic - I think I've read all the stuff you posted recently and have liked it, so well done. And my offer to beta still stands (I beta for quite a few people, so I'm pretty good at it! *g*) - I'm a bit of a stickler for grammar and stuff (like Toby!) but I usually work fast, so if you can use me, give me a shout - you can email me via LJ ...

I'll probably take you up on you offer the next time I finish something large like this. Try as I might, my proof-reading skills are totally lacking. My brain sees what should be there, not what actually is!

"Of course, the cutesiness of his and hers Chiefs of Staff is enough to give you tooth decay.” Hee! I so agree. It's kind of painful.

also, the bit about why CJ over Josh...actually, that is the, hands-down, best explanation ever. and it explains why they don't really discuss it in the show. i...i'm quite impressed. i totally completely accept your reasoning. and i'm normally the argumentative sort.
(and i def agree about Santos being a nonce quite a lot. i have a reason, fuzzy-like, in my brain, that i haven't attempted to articulate yet - strangely, i started a fic that was Jed and Matt discussing Josh as the future CoS, and that got me thinking about the reasoning behind why he would be that way. but being headstrong has always been a part of the character, and being "steered" or "handled" by anyone always seems to be against his grain...even if it's for his own good...)

Hee! Thank you! It really is the only thing that makes sense to me and it works so well within cannon.
Santos was tough. I liked him so much... but every once in a while (mostly in relation to Josh) you just wanted to know what he was smoking!
