So it's really hard for me to pick out a favorite album, but if I absolutely had to, Loveless by My Bloody Valentine would be it. It's extremely difficult for me to pick a favorite song from that album -- I chose "Sometimes" because it reminds me of when K and I were in AP Literature, where we talked about this band and this album from time to time, and this song came up a lot because a.) it's in the movie Lost in Translation, which we watched in class, and b.) K had thought it would be a great song to slow-dance to at a prom or something like that -- never mind that neither one of us went to prom, or cared for that matter. XD
And speaking of favorite albums, and because I can: A link to download the amazingness that is Loveless. If you don't already have this album, get it and listen to it RIGHT THIS MINUTE. It might take a few spins, but trust me, you'll love it! And don't let the sample above fool you; most of the album is much more upbeat than "Sometimes."
