The robot video reminded me of that show that used to come on (I forget which channel), Robot Wars, where essentially nerds or engineering students or whatever would build little robots like those and have them fight each other until eventually one of them stopped working. They would sometimes attach axes and buzzsaws and stuff like that, it was pretty awesome actually.
That Founding Fathers video kind of reminds me of the end of that Space Ghost episode, the one with prototypes of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force characters, where "the future of rock n'roll [has] been forever changed" and somehow this results in a rock band that wears powdered wigs and 18th century frock coats and sings songs about fast food.

"Phillip the Safety Egg" really wasn't my cup of tea -- it was a little too out there -- but I still liked it. ;-)
