Last week, an acquaintance of mine, who was studying abroad this year in Alexandria, Egypt, was in an accident involving a tram.  I just received an e-mail saying his legs had to be amputated above the knees, and that he will be returning home tomorrow to start rehab

I was speechless while i was reading. It's horrible and it sucks pretty much. He's not only going to be on my throughs. I'll send him all my strenght for him and his family :C

Holy crap! That's a horrible thing to happen to anyone. I hope rehab goes well for him. There's no way that can be an easy thing to deal with for him or his family. :(
