So I managed to finish the entirety of Ender's Game in about eight hours. It was for my Politics of Virtual Realities class; I didn't have to have the whole thing read until Wednesday, but apparently I got so caught up in it that I just had to finish it as soon as I could. At least some of my work is getting finished ahead of time. XD Anyway,

I personally quite enjoy the Enderverse books(especially the Shadow books), but like you said about Ender's Game, there are definitely things about them that bother me and the author is a huge douche. So I'd look into them if you're interested, the other Ender books are a lot different than Ender's game, though.

I hope you get those sleeping problems sorted out!

Thanks for the recs! I do want to check them out, because the verse does look interesting (and Ender's Game provides a good setup of that), but it's not at the top of my to-read list.

And yeah, I hope I can kick the insomnia pretty soon! Last night was better, so we'll see how it goes. ^_^;
