[ And sure enough, Ahiru's heartfelt cries of distress reach someone! A new arrival to the wonderful city, of course! Someone rather... confused by the abrupt change of scenery and the inclusion of zombified monsters and murderous... vegetables. Nevertheless, this brief confusion is replaced by the overwhelming urge to answer to the call of those in need! ]

[ Enter a well-timed Azure Fang to the zombie in question, which knocks it off easily-- and Guy. I mean, narrators flub and all, Flynn. In layman's terms; a blond, attractive, young man in blue, white, and metal-clad legs. ]

Are you all right, my lady?

[ He takes a step forward to come closer to Ahiru-- but stops when a monsters pops by and tries to get a piece of this knightly knight. Flynn teaches it, of course, and a few hacks and slashes later, Flynn is back to worrying about this young lady without missing a beat :'D ]

[Yuri manages to find them using his superior observational skills... and his Flynn-radar. He has his sword dangling in his hand just in case- from what it looks like, this pumpkin patch wasn't very safe at all.

He approaches them from behind, being as silent as possible and waiting for the most opportune time to jump in. He still can't believe Flynn was in the City...it's just too strange.

And luckily, he marked a trail back to the City. Huzzah. Is this how this curse even works? Lol.]

[ In an inversion of situations, Flynn's Yuri-radar is the one suffering from failure as a result of that abrupt transition from Terra Lumicreis and... well, this place. He hears those footsteps, and he has his suspicions of course, but... danger was danger, and in a place were there was such humanoid monsters in existence-- well--]

[ He turns here to attack this intruder-- only to find out that... hey, it's a Yuri monster :/ ]

[Ahiru jumps when she sees Flynn looking like he's about to attack, getting ready to run out of the way when he seems to recognize the man.]

What were you thinking sneaking up like that? If you were-- [ He finds himself pauses juust a tiny bit as it reaaaallly sinks in that this is Yuri in front of him, but decides he'll quiz Yuri on that later. ] --If you were behind us all along, a simple heads up would have suffice! I could have seriously wounded you back there.

[ And nevermind the possibility that he would have been too dumbfounded to really understand that, hey, his friend who fell off Zaude's highest point is juuuust around here! The one place he hasn't looked for him in yet! ]

[Yep, they knew each other. Ahiru clasped her hands in front of her and turned to the new guy.]

Did you just come to the City, too, or have you been here a while? I bet you'll be able to explain to Sir Flynn what this place is like better than I can.

Well..I've had to explain stuff sometimes, but some of the stuff he's talking about is just as confusing...

[Ahiru glances over at Flynn, a little worried. They're friends, right? Then why does he seem so upset? Unless...

Oooh. Maybe he's like Fakir and gets angry when he thinks people could've gotten hurt? Yeah, that's it! He's a knight, after all.]

[ It... is honestly irritating, even for Flynn the Amazing, to hear Yuri talk so... easily about matters. Of course he'd be like this! Considering all that had happened, he had hoped Yuri would at least understand... He controls himself though; not in front of the lady :| ]

My apologies, my lady. I didn't think about alienating you at all with my speech-- that said, I- I have to apologize again. I have matters I need to discuss with Yuri here at the moment, and I hope not to... alienate you further.

Coming from "a guy" who didn't even think to send a note about his whereabouts for that much time, I think I can afford to be a little bit rude right now. What were you thinking, Yuri! I understand if you wanted a little down time, but to be gone for so long without a word to Lady Estellise or myself-- your friends even, is ridiculous!

[Ahiru nods at Flynn, then listens, her head tilted a little. So this time around the people actually realized when someone went missing and left the City? Interesting...she felt bad for Yuri, though. It wasn't like he could really send a note, if that's what happened.]

[At first Yuri has no idea what Flynn is even babbling about. But he starts to understand as Flynn goes on. There's only one thing he could possibly be talking about, because his absence from Terca Lumereis would not have been noticed. Having gone back once, he knows this.
