Mary believes that it is a cat's right to be able to put her tail wherever she pleases. My ear, the bath, doesn't matter - her choice, we just have to live with it.

Right now, she is sitting up on the shelf on the computer desk, with her tail in (the thankfully cold remnants of) a bowl of soup.

Dad: Are you here tomorrow lunchtime?
Me: I can be.
Dad: The curtain man's coming to fit the curtain rail in our room.
Me: Okay.
Dad: When he gets here?
Me: Yeah?
Dad: Just tell him to pull himself together.

He fell about laughing.

I don't know if anyone else does this - I imagine they must do - but sometimes when I'm singing a song in my head (I call it thinking a song because I'm not actually singing it but I digress) it morphs into another song. I am currently eating clotted cream ice cream. Unfortunately, it tastes like someone's put vanilla extract on a piece of cotton wool.

I don't think there's that big a market for vanilla flavoured cotton out there, so this probably isn't what it's supposed to taste like.

I am disappointed :(

Me: What did you just ask me to do?!
Her: To sort out the cat's food...?
Me: ...Oh.
Her: Why, what did you think I said?
Me: It's time to get out the harpoon.

Really freaking bizarre dream last night. I can't even...it was so complicated, but it was set in the future, when everyone is cloned at birth and the clone is their child and they grow up together and the original raises the clone (...yeah IDK, this doesn't make a lot of sense).
