Good Omens as a TV movie? Before I get too excited, I'm going to wait to see the cast list, because I seem to recall some "Robin Williams" rumours from a while back. And I love Robin Williams, but... ::shudder::
The problem with print being turned into film, of course, is that the actors chosen often don't match the mental image one's gotten when reading. Harry Potter is the exception; they've been 95% dead ringers for what I "saw" when reading.
I accepted long ago that the two men who were absolutely born to play Crowley and Aziraphale would probably never get the roles. But if you've got the right person in charge of casting, then I trust that they'll pick the folks who come the closest to being "right" that are out there
