Sherlock recs - Babies and Christmas and Fluids, Oh My!
I have been grievously remiss in my Sherlock fic reccing duties...good Lordy Godiva, this fandom attracts some of the best writers I have ever seen. It's almost enough to make a gal feel inferior.
The first one is a babyfic. Yes, a babyfic. It is also a crossover fic in disguise. I am STILL reccing it, because yes, the writing and the character voices are just that good. Based on sadynax's lovely artwork, which made me adore it in spite of my near pathological hatred of all things baby-related in fandom. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you: When the Bough Breaks by alice_day.
The second story is simply the best characterization of John and Sherlock that I've ever seen. Story: Sherlock takes John home for Christmas. The trip is surprisingly enlightening for both of them. By misspamela: that thing you like.
I debated whether to rec this next one or not, as it's dub-con, but the writing won me over in the end. Sherlock gives John a handjob, all in the name of SCIENCE: Collection, by rubyofkukundu.
And finally, wonderfully, beautifully...pforte, the brilliant author of Talk About the Blind Leading the Visually Challenged (an utterly gorgeous John/Sherlock bondage fic), has at last brought forth a sequel: The Game Is On. It Is SO On.
