Husband was just watching a Top Gear where The Stig revealed himself and was interviewed by one of the guys. Was this the Old Stig they refer to in that linked article?

My guess would be that that was the episode where they "revealed" Michael Schumacher as the Stig...is this the clip you saw?

(I understand that Schumacher was one of the names always being bandied about as the possible Stig, so they did it as a joke - they recanted the "reveal" afterwards, and besides, Schumacher's a lot shorter than the real Stig by a degree of magnitude.)
