I am all for the angst if it gives us a Sammy cameo at the end of it. Hell, I'd put up with giant octopuses from space invading CID if it gave us a Sammy cameo at the end of it.
But yeah, I know what you mean...I definitely want to see more of the Guv missing Sam. Philip Glenister is an amazing actor, and besides, he hurts very prettily. :)
Btw, you saw my latest theory post, yeah? I might have to revise it again after some major hints dropped this week...actually I hope I'll have to revise it right up until the end; I love it when the writers keep us guessing!
