as well he should be. we usually know better than to put up with those kind of hateful temps out here in the pac northwest.

at least in the midwest, folks have the sense to realize that even if you don't need an a/c all year round, you buy one ANYWAY (or at least have the decency to put it in your apartment complexes), because when you need one, you REALLY need it.

Yup. When had to live in places without A/C, I spent substantial amounts of time in second-run theaters.

In Idaho, where I grew up, there was no such thing as not having A/C. No one would consider such a thing.
