i might - though i doubt it; i'd be much more likely to shake my head in a 'silly old bear' sort of way - but if i did, i'd be laughing at sam's reaction to your saying it, and not the line itself: 'oh, lovely. nice to see such a caring and compassionate police force', 'i think you left out the jews', etc etc etc. rhys never said a word about gwen coming out with such an uncharacteristically ugly line: 'bloody hell, that was a bit dodgy. you feeling alright?' this case is different, too, in that it's not only offensive, it's confusingly so...like i said in my other post, i think i'm missing some vital bit of context here as to why it's supposed to be funny. with you, i usually have at least some idea of why you think it might be amusing, or at least why you couldn't possibly imagine anyone ever being offended by it
