(idfk what to call this story. Damn you, spacefragmentsHeading west from Topeka on an all-night run, pulled over in a truck stop just outside Denver, Castiel finds a kitten crouching behind the back of end of an eighteen-wheeler. He came walking back to the Impala, the kitten resting in the palms of his hands, cradled close to his chest, and Dean just stared. Sam glanced up from the paper for a moment, a detached grin on his face, before looking back down. This was so sweet. Poor Cas having to give the kitty away. And you know Dean got just as attatched to the little guy. Kitty being christened with the name Winchester means that someday he is gonna be a big bad kitty hunter, wearing a holster and stalking his prey through the shadows, right?

Aww, this is SO adorable. ;_; I cried a little when Cas gave Winchester away. Poor angel; at least he has Dean to cheer him up.

Here from spacefragments 's journal. And eek! I love how sweet this is, and still in keeping with that part-protective, part-macho (?) interaction between Dean and Cas, idk.

I enjoyed it till Cas abandoned the cat. Since I adopted two abandoned cats last week, I don't like what Cas did.
