oh wow. that was really pretty. i'd quote the parts i liked the most, but that might end up being a bit much. but i loved this part especially:
So it was, for the most part, that Orlando could dominate his surroundings in relative good health despite the frequent breaks and pains. He could bound around in graceful exuberance, flexing arms and legs beneath taut skin the colour of sticky syrup, in ways that made him seem to always be just that centimeter above the ground. Touching and feeling beyond the normally accepted measure; hugging, petting, kissing and stroking those around him, reassuring himself in their reality and in his own self-resilient strength to survive and master.
so uhm. yeah. beautiful stuff.

Thankyou :) I'm glad you thought this was pretty.. the imagery was really what was making me write it. Just a nice lilting kind of a language to it..
Next I better try some reality smut fic ;)

I like! *beams* Yes indeedy. Love the way you've drawn the physical and emotional lines of each character. And then brought them closer and closer until they 'unfold'...

I love last lines.. they're my favourite bit of the whole fic.. mmmm.....

Hey, came over here from morganoconner's post on...something (can't remember, was awhile ago). Was ready to read SPN fics, but saw you had LotR and couldn't help but read this.

Although I've always been a fan of viggo/orlando, but I think you've just converted me ;) This was beautifully written and it just worked with the characters. Really good.
