ugh am i the only chicagoan who has noticed the decline in tap water quality over the past few weeks? it has never been good but now it is just plain bad. it tastes like metal and chemicals and the taste increases tenfold if you let it sit for a few minutes. there is no way this is healthy ( Read more... )

yes! i have definately noticed that.

and my dad LOVES the bean, but because he works with metal and stuff and every time someone mentions it he goes on and on about how brilliantly designed it was. it's cute.

what i mean to others is the only meaning ive ever found. as sad as that may be, its true. im totally going to hang out by the bean.

that's typically how i see it too, but i don't really like the lack of individuality and self-worth that that idea promotes, i guess. do people in other states actually know what the bean is and find it interesting? because honestly i do not see how thats possible!
