My cat, my familiar, Magi, will probably have to be put down tomorrow. She has malignant breast tumors. I had one removed two months ago and now several more have popped up. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow to have them looked at but it probably wont be good. I dont think there is any sort of kitty chemo for aggressive cancer and she would ( Read more... )

Well, I am no longer pregnant. I started to have contractions on monday the 29th. Now, doctors tell you not to go into the hospital til the contractions are 5 minutes apart. On monday they were about 20 minutes apart so I wait. On tuesday they were about 10 minutes apart. They were still 10 minutes apart on wednesday, but you must understand that ( Read more... )

So um, I spent Friday night/Saturday morning in the hospital. I had been having non-painful contractions every 24 minutes all Friday. Slowly, they start to get a little painful. Pregnancy : Where laying down and taking a nap can make you tired.

Eating sugar doesn't even give me energy anymore. It gives the baby energy, judging by his post-ice cream wiggles. Me? Nothing.

I guess I am at that point where everything is being taken by the baby. I will be 38 weeks on monday.

For those of you not in the know, I have been put on bedrest until the baby is born. Three days of laying down lowered my blood pressure to 140/88. Which is still not very good. So here's to napping til the little bundle arrives.

Sometimes I really hate being pregnant.

Not so much the discomfort. Or the in-ability to bend over. Or the complete lack of energy. (though these are annoying)
